Plenty of versions of this killer lowrider tune, but this haunting version by Thee Midniters is by far my favourite. Very, very hard to find on 45 and seen at £400+ in US! Seems to be a different mix to the LP version too. Flip is a great version of ‘Sad Girl’. Slight ring wear (see image) but this is a bargain! Don’t sleep.

Barrons - I’m So Lonely (Super Dome) Mint- £75

It’s probably no secret that I’m a sucker for male group harmony 45s and this is a great example of why. An absolute stunner of a lowrider tune that was a £15 45 a year or so ago, £75+ now and shows little sign of slowing down. Lovely Mint- copy of its first release on Super Dome (vinyl too unlike the styrene Althea copies).

Danny White music by The Equitables - How Can You Mend A Broken Heart (Nu-Sound) Ex £50

His other lowrider deepie and whilst it doesn’t command the same price tag as ‘King For A Day’ it’s actually a much harder find. Lovely copy and one to watch!
