Mike Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 ARTICLE/NEWS FEATURE Changes to Structure We did have different news sections for releases to allow members to easily let us know when their projects hit pre-order and then later the actual release stage This didn't really work out that well So going forward will just merge the two below sections containing items (200+) Soul Pre-Orders Upcoming Soul News (Pre-Order news) Soul Releases Latest Soul releases (available right now) (edit) also Soul Media news section has been merged Into our main section Soul Music News Latest soul music news and information --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can view our new revised current cat line yup via https://www.soul-source.co.uk/articles/?show=categories ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To simplify the plan is to "allow " a max of 2 (quality) news items on each project. --------------------------------------------------- Thanks go out to all members who do use this feature and help make it what it is... Mike Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 A main effort the last week or so has been revamping our video feature still ongoing... video feature improvements the software we have used for last 10+ years for this feature has had to be replaced all video info has been transferred across and all data has been cleaned up such as titles, dead videos etc etc the old feature has now been removed and the new one can now be viewed below https://www.soul-source.co.uk/videosdirectory/ still some work going on including better intergration into the forum - as in announce topics and such and more a news item will announce once all work complete
Mike Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 Event Reviews A major part of our Event Guide are event reviews, as in where members lets us know their 'take' on the event As there is a bit of disconnect between the forums and the event guides we are trialling out a new 'announcement' method When a review is posted in our event guide it will get automatically be posted as an 'announcement topic' (eg it be a locked topic@ in our playlist forum this is now in place and you can see how it works via the below and how they are listed in the forum here https://www.soul-source.co.uk/forums/forum/138-event-playlists-reviews/

Benji After your post I checked and realised that the release was not new it was 2 years old, so I posted up that had made a mistake and would remove it shortly, which did about 30-45 minutes later here's the post and yours Quote "these two tracks have never since both been released on the same single up until now" Not correct. They came out on the same 45 in Germany. Quote its a two year old release as well not a new 45 am not sure where/why/how I picked it up as a new release, but anyway will delete shortly

shinyshoes Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Hi, Is there an issue with the events map? When I'm looking for local events it keeps pinning me in Ipswich!? Don't seem able to sort it regardless of which search area I add. Anyone else finding the same? Thanks

Thanks had a look at all seems ok from this end https://www.soul-source.co.uk/events/14-local-soul/ the city and range are cookie based, so if its saying ipswich all the time for you it may be related to that so try deleting the sites cookies to clear? 1
