(Gorgeous tune and a floater for the less energetic on the dance floor. Much harder to find on the red stock label. Immaculate surface, just a sticker mark on the flip that you’re not gonna look at at)

(Fantastic slab of femme Soul, and unless you’re the lucky beggar with the RCA acetate this is the only way the masses were ever to be satisfied)

(This is the one to go full volume on in the car, stunning vocals and such catchy backing)

Norma & Heartaches – Nice and slow – Joy Ride 1030 Ex- £375

(Rare original, brilliant, no, actually outstanding femme crossover, back with a different instrumental version “Harlem at sundown”, has some minor marks, plays Ex with minimal feedback)

Otis Brown – Find somebody new – Lujuna 10655 Ex+ £150

(Chicago mid-tempo, how classy is this, laid back like his other Windy City releases, probably backed by the Soulettes on Dud-Sound, slight edge lift - DNAP)

John Wesley – Love is such a funny thing – Melic 4195 M- Offers

(Wow, full on northern dancer on Lee Youngs Hollywood label. Arthur Wright and Ernie Shelby involvement on this monster floor filler. So hard to find, incredible condition. Reluctant sale, so up for offers please, min £1500, will let it run until Thu 03 Nov at 8pm unless I get an offer I can’t refuse in between)

(All time classic powerhouse dancer, on the more desirable yellow stock label, decidedly harder than the demo. Drill hole and stamp on label)
