Big Momma Thornton - Wade in the Water... manic or what! Les McCann - Sad Little Girl - awsome tune! Don't hear this out much at all! Why?

A big spin some years ago apparently. Needs re-activating cos it's a good 'un.

Both Thelma Houston's and Jr. Walker's versions of "I Ain't Going Nowhere" started off as album tracks, but they got played to death anyway. (Not to mention Bobby Hutton et.al.!) You'd think these bone idle Northern DJs would have got a bigger box and learned to change the speed of the decks after 30+ f****** years! (aimed at 'them' Ken, not you personally!) Guest Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Got to say I agree with Nut, what is it with Dj's not wanting to play album tracks, I have been collecting albums for thirty years rather than 7" cos i like to find the unknowns that usually accompany the track you buy the record for. Many a cracking track found that way and when your playing them at home it saves having to get off your but every three minutes to change the record (idle git that I am).
