Garage soul bomb that’s on the playlists of one or two more progressive and enlightened DJs and on the wants lists of many others! An elusive 45 that in the U.K. is still relatively unknown. There really aren’t any copies of this around and it has all the ingredients for big things. Don’t sleep.

Scarce and superb upbeat dancer with killer harmonies. One for those DJs looking to play something different, had some plays over the years without ever really taking off. Not seen on any playlists except Mark Garcia in the states. Proper northern to a tee and 

much, much harder than it’s going rate implies!

Killer double sider! Sublime ballad one side, thumping garage R&B on the other. Rarer than his other one and this is a lovely clean copy!

Infectious unknown (?) garage soul dancer with huge potential. I only know one person in the US who knew what this 45 was when listed on Groovy Garage. Private press so rare as hen’s teeth! On YouTube but hidden, check the link below!

Under the radar? Not on YouTube (clip available via DM or head over to the Groovy Garage Group on FB), it’s not unknown but seems to have escaped attention so far. Again a hard 45 to acquire and this one is nice! An exclusive for someone playing something a little more progressive.

Johnny Soul and The Manchesters - Always Hurt Her So (Dome) Vg (plays clear) £50

Absolute killer garage soul/R&B banger that really should be better known. I am convinced this had plays or was at least known at Stafford, but I’m either wrong or it’s been completely forgotten. Sounds dead right for now and make no mistake this is a hard 45 to find in any condition.

One Way Street - Yard Dog (Apollo) Ex £35

Another that’s had plays in the US but I think has yet to reach these shores. A harder, rawer take than the Smash issue on a much harder to find Apollo 45 (okay it’s not Walter B and The Untouchables but it’s still a tricky find). Infectious with potential to be huge.

Haunted - Come On Home (Trans-World) strong Vg £25

Killer garage soul/R&B version of Jackie Edward’s ‘Come On Home’. Canadian only 45 that is listed at $150 on Discogs and believe you me it ain’t common! One I shared to the Groovy Garage group recently that’s proved pretty popular. A fair few light marks but plays Vg+ (sound clip available on request).

Unknown? Same backing track as Eugene Davis - Ruby! Funk edged and then some, Ruby has become really hard to find expect this to go the same way of it gets the exposure it deserves.
