Quinvy Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 i give up - 143 go and have a listen yesterday and not a single response. PAH! No offence Glynn, but your dj spot is a nice oldies compilation, but nothing new or interesting for anyone that has been around a long time like us on here mate. Just my humble opinion you understand. Best, Phil.

Best, Phil. and the edwin starr interview? and the second edwin starr interview? sorry ive not been around long enough - suppose 1978 at wigan was a bit late was it? jesus talk about a closed shop on this site. in future i'm guessing people will have to roll up one leg and show their left breast whilst quoting the lines from some obscure acetate just to get a look in.

Ted Massey Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 stir baby stir Fantastic site problem is it stops me from doing my work
Glyn Williams Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 maybe i should post some disco stuff mike
Mike Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I would say maybe.. if posted playlist or two or brief word on what getting maybe invited feedback in the intial post and such if lack of it coming then perhaps ask any views, want more ? sure know its a kicker when do something and get nought back, but calling the site for it aint on
Glyn Williams Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 not the site mike, the site is great - just the ignorance that is becoming the norm these days
Guest Byrney Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 and the edwin starr interview? and the second edwin starr interview? sorry ive not been around long enough - suppose 1978 at wigan was a bit late was it? jesus talk about a closed shop on this site. in future i'm guessing people will have to roll up one leg and show their left breast whilst quoting the lines from some obscure acetate just to get a look in. Er.. I had a look - no track listing so moved on as still at work, job done; no comment to add. Bit strong all this this closed shop, chin stroking stuff mind. Also don't get your point re being around since 1978, plenty of the top contributors (and moderators) on here are relatively new(ish) to the scene so time served means the square route of zilch to me. BTW a break from 1982 - 2000 doesnt count as continuous service to the cause
Manfromsoul45s Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Well put mr byrne... maybe you can help me out. I'm 53 (scratch chin, scratch chin) been off the scene for 15 maybe 20 years and rock 'n' roll at butlins is not for me but put me new baggies on and talk about va va's and i'm in... do i need owt else for me rep... (ick ick fanah fanah)

Blimey, I think you're over reacting there Glynn. I didn't have time to check out everything on your site, but I'm always drawn to playlists in case there's something I've never heard before. So that's what I listened to. If you had wanted feedback on certain items, you only had to ask. Phil.
