Guest Dr Pickles Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 (edited) Otis Lee - Have Mercy On Me I'm looking for some info on this. Can anyone help? Label Price Availability Cheers Doc Edited February 20, 2007 by Dr Pickles
Marc Forrest Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I once had nect to "HRTH" another Quaint 45 by Otis Lee (blue label). Think it resides with Andy Dyson now. If that is the tune you are on about it is a decent ballad (both siedes) but nth to get over excited about. Marc
Paul Dunn Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Otis Lee - Baby I Love You - Quaint 2-2 As you say a decent ballad John Manships latest guide Hard Road To Hoe/They Say I'm A Fool - Quaint 1-1 My Queen Is On The Scene/I Wanna Be Loved - Quaint 2-2 Regards Paul I once had nect to "HRTH" another Quaint 45 by Otis Lee (blue label). TheBigO Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 (edited) Isn't this a decent Northern R&B moover? OOOOH UPDATE! Having pulled my copy from the laptop archives I can confim its a belting Northern R&B moover and NOT a ballad (at least to these sticky out ears at least) and I did try and post it here for you all to hear but the bloody thing will not upload. So, take my word for it, its a moover. Possibly a cover-up as my files only have it listed under title and name, no label but its been on there for a few years so the memory is fading! Big O You are completely correct. The record I was looking for is a "belting Northern R&B mover". Wrap your ears around this: https://www.soulclub.org/stream/Otis_Lee_-_...Mercy_On_Me.ram Cover up??????? If anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Doc

Guest Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Posted on this yesterday, but I guess it didn't get through. I had it a a few years ago. It's definitely a cover, LP only(one of them budget LP's with covers by other artists). Can't remember the title of the LP offhand. May be able to track one down though. I'll pm you if I can track it down....
