Fortson & Scott - Just A Little Step (Pzazz) Ex £275

No, not ‘Sweet Lover’ but their other - arguably rarer and better- Pzazz 45. For those looking for quality rare and underplayed northern, this is perfect a sublime dancer with a fabulous spoken intro. How this has never been massive is a mystery. Of the three label variants this is the one I be seen least often but to be fair you don’t see ANY of these ‘often’, last one on Discogs went for £400, this one is priced to sell - be quick!

Fabulous Four - If I Knew/Everybody’s Got To Have A Heart (Saintmo) Ex £100

Double sided dynamite! ‘Knew’ remains a criminally underplayed Stafford spin that’s become increasingly sought after in the last year or so as copies have dried up. Flip it for a gorgeous lowrider group ballad that has doubtlessly contributed to demand.

Baby Washington - It’ll Never Be Over For Me (Sue) Vg+ (slight edge warp, DNAP, and scribble on label flipside - priced accordingly) £35

Less than half book value due to a small edge warp and messy label flip! Everyone has their favourite version of this monster mid tempo killer, this is mine by a country mile. Bargain.
