3 Billy & Betty – Talking Bout You Baby b/w Need Some Kind Of Something – Sag Port (SP101) M- £90.00 slight label fade as with most copies, great double sided Chicago dancer, ex Wilton spin

4 Billy Bland – My Heart’s On Fire – Old Town (1105) M- £50.00 lovely label coloured issue, great upbeat dancer & good flip

5 The Contenders – (You Gotta) Do What You Gotta Do b/w The A-Go-Go’s – Moon Jerk (Inst) - Edge (506) M- £75.00 big in the 70’s, vocal & instrumental flip, booted on vinyl, this is a matrix stamped styrene original, old Cleethorpes & Notts Palais spin, I even played this back in the 80’s

6 Rose Hargrove – Why Am I Losing You – Afco (AFCO523) M- £75.00 actually a demo, the words Promotional Not For Sale crossed through, brilliant raw voiced gritty mid tempo dancer, ex Betty Lavette c/up & Wilton spin

7 Eddie Holman – She’s Beautiful – Don El (124) M- £125.00 so hard to find now, great catchy early Philly dancer, ex Parr Hall, Hyde Botanical & Stafford spin in the 80’s

8 Kelly Brothers – Love Time – Sims (247) WDJ M- £80.00 old Torch spin that’s stood the test of time, great group, drivin uptempo dancer, glossy label vinyl demo - SOLD

9 The Passionetts – My Fault – Path (P101) M- £100.00 ex Stafford spin, drivin’ uptempo girl group dancer with plenty of mileage left for today

10 Radiants – Heartbreak Society – Chess (1849) £50.00 double sided demo copy, mid tempo Chicago group perfection, lovely clean copy

11 Sweet William – Maybe Baby b/w That’s The Sound Of Music – Companion (CP107) M- £175.00 big voiced mid tempo dancer reputed to be Tony Middleton, he co penned both sides, played in the 80’s, hard to find number

12 The World’s Funkiest Band – When You’re Alone – California Gold (CG79) M- £50.00 very slight mark on label above the word Gold otherwise M-, the same as Buddy Connor on Breakthrough at a fraction of the price, superb version from 1978, penned / produced by Joey Jefferson
