Third Soul Trio - That’s A Natural Fact/What About This Love Affair (Cabell) strong Vg £250

This double sided obscurity is rarer than ‘Rainy Day’ and has yet to realise its enormous potential. ‘What About This Love Affair’ is fantastic group ballad that’s totally under the radar and was an old Bob A tip. Flip it for an uptempo dancer that sounds bang on for now. A very very tough 45 to find so some exclusivity is guaranteed! Strong Vg, some genre crackle on intro to the slower side which clears up, flip plays Vg+ sound clips from both sides of actual 45 available on request).

New Trends - My Summer Love (Brooks Records) Vg+ £100

Probably not unknown but pretty sure this is still very much under the radar even in the US, just the two clips on YouTube, only once through Discogs and less than 10 through eBay. Gorgeous group ballad, rarity and obscurity assured. Lower end of Vg+ but plays well with some light crackle on intro, clip from actual 45 available on request). Seen on a few big collectors wants lists so it won’t hang around at this price!

Sensations - Please Baby Please (Way Out) Vg+ (minor label wear see image) £60

Notoriously hard to find in anything above VG, so I was pretty shocked to find that despite the label wear and some light hairlines this ones in decent shape and plays well (sound clip from actual 45 available on request). Mesmerising group harmony lowrider that grips you from the opening bars. Has sold for £100 in Mint-, priced this one to sell. Don’t sleep!

Frank Turner and The Silver Stars - All For My Kids (Maison De Soul) Mint- £30

Monster deepie on this highly collectable label. This one’s been a collector’s favourite for some time and at the moment at a very affordable price but have seen others of this type rise steeply in value recently. Don’t pass on these while they’re cheap.
