My memory is shocking.

Absolutely cannot remember the combinations from then but the determinations as clear as day.

Remember the admirations being covered up and saying the the dj...this sounds like the admirations and him telling me to piss off for guessing that!

Of course the soul nights preceeded the alnighters for many years before.

Absolutely brilliant Andy ! You’ve nailed it ! A time before the dance floor split to when nighters played Northern - Modern - Newies and Oldies all in the same room ! Before we went down the separate modern room era !Β

Interesting point...

First time I saw "2 rooms" apart from Wigan main and m's...

Cleethorpes with the jazz funk...other side of midnight malarkey.

Before Clifton Hall.

Then Sheffield Baileys Xmas do...about same time as Clifton Hall....upstairs small room, NS, downstairs big room jazz funk AND sugar Hill gang!

Where did it all go seperate ways?

Having said all that...anything goes...nightmare.

went to wigan very late 1981 , clifton hall followed and for two years was my place to dance. great times ,always remember richardΒ  introducing rotherhams national anthem the dells your song and a cover up by the detroit agents ,give my love one more try?
