What do you lot think? Very poppy or just a bit poppy? Is it one of his earlier tunes? Has it been played? Is it known? (If its by Bobby Sheen it must be?) Questions..............Questions Yes, "I Want You For My Sweetheart" (Dimension) is both known, and has been played. The other side "My Shoes Keep Walking Back To You" is great deep soul, too. When it comes up for sale, it's usually listed at around the £50+ mark. It's also collected by people who like girl group and Phil Spector-related stuff, and nowadays it seems to have also drifted into being an "Island Soul"/"Jamaican Soul" record too. So it's wanted in (at least) three 'states'! TONE

TONE Thanks for that Bud - Yeah the 60s collectors bit makes sense - it was written by Ellie Greenwich and I realize that that sort of thing goes for the general 60s type of fan too doesn't it? I think its a nice latin/soul/pop thing by Mr Sheen, ill get one. Thanks again Tony
Dylan Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 "My shoes" is an absolute cracker. I was actually just listening to that this afternoon. Then I gave "love stealing" a quick spin. 50UK sounds about right you may actually get it cheaper but it deserves to be much more.
