Vamp - Free And Easy (Mar-Vel) Mint- £40

Killer alert! Virtually unknown organ led funk edged crossover that is so so good. Seems to have been completely ignored until some recent spins from the likes of Brian Maguire and other more forward thinking DJs. One that should and will be massive. IMPORTANT, this is the rarer and far superior in sound quality ‘long’  version.

Faithful Wonders - Ol’ John (Behold Thy Mother) (Checker) Mint- £50

Notoriously hard to find in anything but beat condition, here’s a Mint- still in its birth sleeve! Yet another Monk Higgins produced, floor-shaking gospel bomb. Had some plays late ‘80s curtesy of Guy Hennigan and more recently in Europe, but still not recognised by the wider soul fraternity.  Plenty of mileage in this one and still (relatively) cheap (for now).

R. Agee and V. Smith - Boy And Girl Thing (Solid Soul) Mint- £35 

Funk edged R&B from the ‘Losing Again’ man. Seems virtually unknown and pretty damn rare looking at Discogs and Popsike! Like so many of Agee’s 45s this really has something, rare, unknown and quality for next to nothing in today’s market!

Rena Faye and Teddy Bear Co. - Thank You Baby / Do It (instrumental) (Melron) Mint-  £50

Incredibly obscure funk edged double sider on the same label as the Fred Martin rarity that never shows. Probably as rare, had some exposure on the continent but will be unknown to most. One for the more adventurous and forward thinking DJs/collectors.
