I first met Alan in the early 70s when the Jackson family spent a few years in Belper, Derbyshire and we stayed in touch, albeit sporadically in recent years. He was a top man on every level. Condolences to his family and those closest to him. RIP Alan.

Moving on to Ashton Masonic Hall, Jowett’s Walk, Ashton-Under-Lyne OL7 0BB from 5.00pm onwards. Back Street Blue Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Not been on here for a while so only just seen this......RIP Al Jackson. Will let my mate Mick Malone know, they were friends and Mick went out with Al's sister (Carole ?) for a while mid-seventies. Sad news indeed.
