paultp Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 So on Tuesday I went up to the James Cook Hospital in Middlesborough to have my annual pacemaker check. They collect all the data from it for the last year and also check the remaining battery lifespan. They are telling me that everything is OK when they say: "just a minute, look at this .... a 16 to 20 second period of extremely high heart rate" This evidently caused the pacing thingy to slow my heart rate, which it has never done before, it is fitted to keep my heart from slowing down. "When was it?" I ask .. "12.04 am on the 7th January this year" "Mmmm.. err... that will be York Soul club then"
