Ridiculously rare, under the radar lowrider/crossover on the Indiana label that that provided the equally, if not rarer, Jazzie Cazzie and the Eight Sounds 45. The flip is a nice dancer too (although not on YouTube), recently sold at £265 in Vg+ and this copy ain’t far off. Don’t sleep.

Caprells with The Caprell Band - Deep Love/Hey Girl (Bano) Vg+ (some gentle crackle on intro on ‘Deep Love’) £100

Double sided dynamite that’s quadrupled in price over the last 12 months and for good reason. ‘Deep Love’ is a gorgeous slice of sweet group soul that’s long been in demand by US lowrider collectors. Flip it for group harmony crossover hea ven with bags of northern appeal, quite why this has never been massive is a mystery, but given recent interest it’s only a matter of time!

Ann Byers - Gotta Get You Back/This Man Is Rated X  (Virtue) Ex £100 (sticker removal tear on flip label)

Another double sider that’s seen a recent sharp increase in price with recent Discogs sales in the £150+ range! Likely driven by demand for the quality lowrider topside, whilst the flip is a funk edged dancer with bags of potential. With two quality sides appealing to two very different scenes this one’s a sound investment.

Little Man and The Inquires - What Good Is Loving You/Funky Breakdown (Cu-Wu) Mint- £75

Killer kiddie soul double hitter, that’s as rare as this Detroit based label suggests. Under the radar lowrider ballad on one side and a funk edged bomb on the flip that’s got two or three upfront DJs behind it currently. This won’t stay cheap for long!
