Ageing Face
I like the sleeves such as Trojan & Buddha that are an extension of the record label Although, with so much scope it’s difficult to understand why record companies chose to virtually copy other sleeves, you’d think they would want to differentiate themselves It’s also interesting to see how the sleeve designs change with time 1 Link to comment Social source share

Guest
Joy was a New York label owned and run by George and Eddie Joy. They released over one hundred 45s from 1958 to 1968. This lovely sleeve is from 1964 (assuming it's the birth sleeve for depicted record). Link to comment Social source share
Joesoap
Great thread. Couple from me. 1. Charming collage sleeve from Disques Vogue (also love the modernist label design). 2. Same as the one above that's got a Major Lance record in it (actually a company sleeve for the Brazilian Motown label!) Mal C
I'm sure this site has been posted before, but if you want amazing sleeves, John Spencer's website lists his collection, but with a twist, every sleeve has a drawing, sketch or paining by John, if you have not seen this before, his work is stunning and highly original... http://www.johnnyspencer.info/ 2 Link to comment Social source share
