Artistic record sleeves

 1st I guess was a sleeve for maybe some Heavy Metal release , Flag Records 

The 2nd albeit a round card found in a Polydor sleeve from 69 worth a read , how times have changed ,exact size of a 7" disc.

The 3rd  an home made Job I found on a car boot , I presume he no longer needs it ?

Although, with so much scope it’s difficult to understand why record companies chose to virtually copy other sleeves, you’d think they would want to differentiate themselves

It’s also interesting to see how the sleeve designs change with time

Joy was a New York label owned and run by George and Eddie Joy. They released over one hundred 45s from 1958 to 1968. This lovely sleeve is from 1964 (assuming it's the birth sleeve for depicted record).

Great thread.

Couple from me.

1. Charming collage sleeve from Disques Vogue (also love the modernist label design).

2. Same as the one above that's got a Major Lance record in it (actually a company sleeve for the Brazilian Motown label!)
