Rita and the Tiaras - wow... Love that record but that is quite a price. I was just looking at the 1979 Destiny reissue and laughed because Dave Raistrick writes on the back "this now has reputedly been fetching up to £100 on the original label". Was it really that cheap in the 70s? Of course demand has increased dramatically but it's amusing to note that with inflation £100 is only £451 today!

I’ve now worked out why Manny has record auctions - this way, he has free publicity on Soul Source. Apart from Rita and The Tiaras which was obviously an auction item, just about everything else went for a set-sale price. Ted Wilson went for less than expected, so someone had a bargain.

I always teased Dave about being a "Top" DJ, at least he laughed at me, he never did get it printed on a T-shirt. Gloria's version pips it for me.
