This was the first ever 'cover-up' I can remember.

Dave Godin gave it to John Bollen/Franny Francisco to get played around West Yorkshire at clubs like Lord Jims, Hernies, Victory Lounge, The Wellington etc.

As you say, spine tingling music. Now to soul club to give it a listen!

Heard this out for the first time in 20 odd years at the recent Cleethorpes shindig. Memories indeed

Probably about the same time last year, i had the same feeling with the same record.
