Tomangoes Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Still my favourite clegg wg sound...but who is / was the main man? Ed
Chalky Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 Not a lot, he was the brother of Cornelius Key, Jr who had a hand in the record, they had another brother Leo and a couple of sisters, this was taken from an obituary for Cornelius. James is what the J is. They were from Alabama by all accounts.
Tomangoes Posted March 4, 2022 Author Posted March 4, 2022 Cheers. Musically, it just flows perfectly. Shame there's not more from this family. I guess this single bombed... Ed

Tomangoes Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 Yes, I can see the creators have been hard to track down. Since "God" supervised the production, I guess its free to all believers! Its just too good and intense to be a couple of amateurs playing around. Ed 1

The publishing company looks like it is made up from letters from Cornelius’s kids names. Edited March 5, 2022 by Chalky

No they will have paid a fee and registered it with the authorities, if Willie J was then to turn up he can seek his dues. 1
