Cheapsiderecords Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Just got back from London, Ont record show and having a sort through. Bought these on the off chance for $2.50 each: Otella and the Overtures - Canadian Columbia, in Kop's book for 75 quid? Did this get played? Bennie Anderson and the Teals - Sugar Girl - King promo - not bad mid-tempo early 60's dancer. Anybody know this?

Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) The Otella thing is a girl group record, too fast really, I sold one about 4 weeks back for £30 Brenda Lee also did the Otella song, on the flip of "I'm Sorry". There's a stupidly rare original version by a male black group from 1958, can't remember the name of the group or the label offhand... As Pete says, it's way too fast to fill a dancefloor and way too overpriced at £75.00. I've had my copy for about 6-8 months, paid around $8.00 for it off GEMM...
