Guest toby
No one was more suprised than the seller JON BUCK,he was flabergasted over this. When he put it up last Saturday it went to £165.00 within the first 2 hours or so,he kept calling me up and asking if he had made a mistake, and was there something he should know on this item. Jon has put up numerous patches/badges up for sale recently all of whom are original items, that had been stored away for more years than he can remember,i know he called me and felt guilty about the cost of such an item,he called the buyer who was genuine just to confirm it was'nt a wind up. Good luck on Jon's part he needed a bit of luck of late,he's one person on our soul scene who in my opinion who would never try and have anybody over,a good bloke.. (now wheres the other 200 or so patches given out on this event,i bet lots of people are cursing themselves for sewing them on a coat/bag then tossing it away). Steve G
is it only wigan? I have some st.ives anniversary badges. bet no bugger's interested in them... Yes I am afraid Wigan seems to be the be all and end all of the universe when it comes to the type of person that wants to pay £200 for a patch. What I don't get is how you can tell an original patch from a repro? You going to Luanco? Steve Link to comment Social source share
