gncgmc10 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Hello, everyone! I am hoping the community could assist me in identifying the following track. The person that posted the below video claims it is a Nancy Wilson recording. Comments on this video seem to disagree, but no progress on the identity of singer or record have been made. I hope someone more knowledgeable could assist and reply. Please and thank you. 2

That's almost as bad as the comment on the vid suggesting it could be Kathy Kirby! Definitely sounding a lot like Nancy Wilson, although - to these ears - a somewhat subdued performance from her if it actually is. 1
Kenb Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) there was a 1968 LP (obscure) Moving Along by Nancy Wilson. Whether this 45 is taken from that i'm not sure. Edited February 2, 2022 by Kenb

Rick Cooper Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Sounds like a number of jazz singers that were updating their recordings around 64-67. Some possibles are Della Reese, Ethel Ennis and Margie Day, but I've never heard them do this track. Margie Day does a pretty good Nancy Wilson impersonation on this track, Ain't It the Truth (also done by Roy Hamilton)
