• spare copy - plays well, loud and clear but has a slight 'swoosh' in the quiet intro

• if ever an oldie was 'right for today' this is it - I'm going to be putting this in my sets at RS&F weekender alongside the Precious Three!

 

(3) Linda Jones - "I Just Can't Live My Life" VG/VG+ £200

• where the love affair with this music started for a lot of us
• a bit scruffy but plays great - would be VG+ but for the labels really; bargain

 

(4) L Ruffin - "This Stuff Just Kills Me" (Cross WD) EX/VG+ £100   ****SOLD****

• great NOLA dancer and obscure - plenty of action in this

 

(5) The Naturals - "Young Generation" (Calla) EX/M- £10   ****SOLD****

• brilliant dancer - underplayed and all for a tenner

 

(6) The Other Brothers - "It's Been A Long Time Baby" (Modern) EX £40   ****SOLD****

• getting recognition, at long last - superb dancer - spare copy

 

(7) Sebastian Williams - "Too Much" / "Home Town Boy" (Sound Of Soul) VG- £150   ****SOLD****

• rare and uptempo brilliant Northern double-sider
• looks rough but plays great

(8 ) Soul Invaders Inc - "Careless Loving" (Yorktown) VG- £50   ****SOLD****

• the surprise of the list - rare 70s funk with a nice sweet flip
• plays well despite the grade, especially the sweet side
