here are then

now sold out on vinyl though told later repress planned

Bobby Harden & the Soulful Saints
"Feels So Good" / "Wounded Hearts"

From our friends at Dala Records:
Bobby Harden & The Soulful Saints are back with their new 45, “Feels So Good” b/w “Wounded Hearts,” the follow-up to their wildly popular debut single, “Runnin' (To Get To Your Love).” The A-side, “Feels So Good,” is the song we all need right now - an upbeat soul groove perfectly suited to soundtrack the better days ahead. The B-side, “Wounded Hearts,” is a deep ballad layered with strings and fuzz guitar and could have been a lost Curtis Mayfield single.

Repress was supposed to be available from 7th Jan , but still showing ‘sold out ‘ .

Cool version of Anna Raye’s ‘Will you love my child’ by Thee Illusions, coming soon. Not yet sure what will be on the other side, but no doubt quality as per their two 45’s so far.

This came out last year and sold out very quickly. Bandcamp is advertising the repress which I have just bought. Great percussive record with strong vocals.

That’s a fair effort leaning heavy on Melba Moore’s ‘Magic Touch’! Cheers.

Recently purchased this 45 from Juno. A new release from Roland Johnson.  It's not on his recent album. A bit spenny as it's got a brexit tax on it but IMO worth the extra strikes.

Now in stock at Detour . Just a few left of this Ltd edition (of 300) after pre orders . They’ll be no repress .

http://shop.detourrecords.co.uk/epages/es785745.mobile/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es785745/Products/LB02

Hard on the heels of the debut release (LB01 Lou Pride) comes a sensational double A side from the soul of Steve Marriott!

''Steve Marriotts' prolific collaborations over the decades with ladies of soul including Clydie King, Venetta Fields, Sherlie Matthews, Billie Barnum, Claudia Lennear, P.P. Arnold, Doris Troy, Sam Brown and Margo Buchanan are in the main 'invisible' with recordings lost and/or unreleased. In the meantime hopefully this 2nd Last Bastion Records release will give a small insight into the soulful side of Steve, 1st time on 45, originally recorded for unreleased /shelved LPs and includes two of The Small Faces finally re uniting and on the flip, backing vocals from P.P. Arnold again re uniting with Steve.''

Andy Bellwood (Last Bastion Records) Records)

Two absolute beauties , keeping the legacy of Marriott alive, more than a small face! Amazing how his voice sounds so fresh as if it was today, you can see why so many have tried to emulate this wonderful man. Great that these 2 are released on Vinyl for the 1st time – well done Bastion Records Keep em coming!

Alan May – 6TR / Glory Boy Mod Radio Show

'Steve Marriott was one of the best songwriters of his generation and his music will continue to be discovered and enjoyed for generations to come”

Johnny Bradley (www.modsofyourgeneration.com / www.Facebook.com/modsofyourgeneration)

“What a voice, the late great Steve Marriott sounding as Soulful as ever!”

Rob Bailey/Dr Robert (www.newuntouchables.com / http://www.lebeatbespoke.com)

''He (Steve Marriott) had the best white man singing the blues, white soul singer voice ever. He was a black man in a little white body.''

Jerry Shirley (Humble Pie drummer & various incarnations of Steve Marriott bands)

''Both of these tracks, in my opinion, prove that Steve Marriott was most definitely the best British Male R&B/Soul vocalist.... He was authentic, full of expression and all the way “Live”. I remember recording those BV´s on ´Some Kind Of Wonderful´ with Sam Brown and Margo Buchanan. The track was on fire, raw, funky and full of spirit.''

P.P. Arnold

"Lonely No More" sees the legendary duo of Marriott & Lane back together for one last time. It's like they never went away. Superb!"

Eddie Piller (Mod DJ, MD Acid Jazz Records,Totally Wired Radio/Modcast)

Great record . Buying in UK from Daptone in USA attracts high p&p etc costs . None available at Rough Trade . Advised would be available at Juno but none surfaced there .

I was just looking and Daptone at the moment seem to be the only outlet posting to the UK , so I put 3 copies in my basket requested shipping and 3 copies $ 24 + $ 27 total $51 , that's equates to £13 each better than the going rate , but will be surprised if Daptone UK don't get any eventually but will probably be classed as an oldie by then , maybe 2 or 3 get together and buy a few save on postage costs

A quick search didn't turn this up so hopefully I'm not doubling up on a posting I couldn't find here. This arrived in yesterday's post, via a message I saw on Facebook. On Creative Soul, Don Bryant 2 excellent sides, with 'A world like that' the A side but an equally great B side of his self-penned 'It was jealousy', the same song that was recorded by Otis Clay:
