Dave Pinch Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 the last 2 copies of the appreciations have gone well over 2k on discogs.. they were mint- tho.. so the price a bit disappointing on that one tho i dont think it was that great a copy.. if selling for a third party they may be a bit disappointed 1
Frankie Crocker Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 You guys are spot on as always. Brothers of Soul just a set-sale record. Appreciations was an inferior copy hence low finishing price. Mel Britt’s figure was pretty staggering but understandable for a truly great record. 2

Dobber Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I dont much about the delrays 45 but it seems a lot of money at 1400 quid? am i right in thinking around 600 quid for this? and the cythia and imaginations at nearly 350 quid, again i thought this was a 80 quid tune at best? 1

Thought the same too. But, I would’ve expected more for the Royale 7 & Appreciations 45s given the wild prices of late. Perhaps people have some large credit card bills after Christmas at the end of the month. 1
Tomangoes Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Don't know the unknown artist tune. Is it any good? I bet the seller was hoping for at least one nought on the end, if not two. Lots of hype to the ego maniac dj target audience. Mel Britt? Wished I'd been on that bus ride he joined from Chicago to Detroit all those years ago. Sounds as fresh as ever. Ed 3
