Guest rudyslowmo Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hello, I bought this copy of Marion Black Who knows / Go on Fool. And I wonder why it is so blue. Is it a second release or a bootleg with a cheap copy of the label? In the dead wax is "RITE 5161     27137      2      RS" on Go on Fool and "RITE 5161       27138      2      RS" on Who Knows. The "1" could be a "/", too. I can't identify it exactly. I attached a pic of the record it shows exactly the color. It's blueish. Thanks rudy
pikeys dog Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Can't imagine anyone booting this as it's a pretty common 45....
Guest rudyslowmo Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Yes, I know it's not hard to get and not so expensive, but the other copies I saw before were brown/white or gold/white whatever you will call the color in the upper half. But they were not blue. Can anyone check the deadwax of his copy, please? thanks rudy
pikeys dog Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Seen loads of copies with the blue label..... Different pressing plant variations?
Guest rudyslowmo Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Seen loads of copies with the blue label..... Different pressing plant variations? Thanks for that answer.  I felt a little bit ripped-off before, cause the blue looks realy like a cheap colored copy of the original label. Now I think it was worth the money. Anyone knows which was first white or blue? By the way, I saw that song on two CDs in the last few month. Both made by german soulevents the "N¼rnberg Weekender" every Nov. in N¼rnberg aka "turning your heartbeat up" and 3rd Anniversary of "For Dancers only" in Hamburg.

I don't even think it's from a different pressing plant. Mine has the sime matrix numbers and it has veeery pale blue on the bottom and around the Capsoul logo. It's also on one Madrid's S.M.A.R.T. CLUB compm but from the Avco release. By the way, Smart is for Soul Mod And Rythm Time, ain't that cool? Cheers from Mxico, Dante
