...what a thoroughly decent fellow he is.

About a year ago, at Bisley, I bought a Teen Turbans demo on Loma from him, only to find when I got it home that it had a small and virtually invisible crack in the edge.

I mentioned it to a pal who said that he saw Sean all over the place and that he would get it back to him, post haste. I then passed it to said pal who proceeded a) not to see Sean anywhere at all for the next year and cool.gif to misplace it anyway.

'Pal' recently DID find it, and gave it back to me - but in the interim I'd bought a copy from another dealer (not cracked). Now I wouldn't really expect anyone to refund or replace a faulty 45 after 12 months, but when I made a recent purchase from Sean I mentioned it to him in the half hope tha he might give me some sort of 'assistance'.

'Send it back, and we'll see what we can do' he says, so I do. And what he does is offer me credit against my next purchases, something I'm only too pleased to have.

After all that time, Sean was under no obligation to do anything at all. The fact that he did makes him an A1 bloke in my book, and I'd like to thank him publicly for what I regard as unbeatable customer service that will guarantee we do future business...

Top man, eh?

I Recently bought a tune off of Sean and there was a fault with it so i got in contact and he told me to return it to him which i did and after Sean tested it himself and found the fault he immediately gave me a refund without even asking for one and covered the cost of my postage back to him too. when i next see him at TOTS he again appologised in person for some fault he could never of known about.top dealer and top man. always search his site when looking for a new tune im after.:P:lol:

Blimey...how many cracked records has he sold...

God that made me laugh !

Seans one of the good guys though, thoroughly nice bloke, even if he shouts a lot, just like that Welsh bloke off 'It Ain't Half Hot Mum'.

And he has a very nice testicle in the shape of Jo Wallace too.

Or how often has he sold the same cracked record

Sean's on SS with the user name of some 1930's Grimsby footballer, Albert Postlethwaite, or something similar, so I'm sure he'll be squirming with embarassment at all the comments about what a nice guy he is. Trouble is, it's true :D:huh: Him being a nice guy I mean, not that he keeps selling the same cracked record :)

Hello I'm new to SS, I've recently sold my collection of yellow labels and have started collecting records with those that have

"small and virtually invisible cracks in the edge"

Am I in the right place?
