"Alex Brown-what would i do -Tangerine...Old Gloucester sound´71" unquote........

Neil (signed in as Dolly) ventures.........

Interesting is that - purely cos my money is on the vocal being Ty Karim, whose 'biggie' shares backing track with Ike n Tina's "Somebody Somewhere.." cut with Tangerine & released also on Loma. Coincidence?

Anyone know anything about Alex Brown? Could this be a pseudonym for Ty Karim? The voice is too close to not be the same (I.M.H.O)

Soooooooo. I reckon Track 3 is Ty Karim.

Track 8 is titled "The Fat Man" and is by the T.K.O's on Ten Star records. A regular spin of mine in room 2 at Bury. Great instrumental - really atmospheric.

OK, I await the barrage of corrections and rotten fruit!

Steve,

I am quite happy to cheerily accept being corrected but listening to the record - you would SWEAR it was Ty Karim.

Have another listen and think "Lighten Up".......
