Florida Spiritualaires - I Remember When (Ernie’s) strong Vg £175 Sold 

Borderline Vg+ there is a bit static and the odd light pop here and there mostly on intro before the recording pretty much takes over (sound clip from actual copy below). A copy that sounded about the same went through eBay last year at nearly £300, so this is arguably a bargain! Demand for this gorgeous gospel lowrider/crossover 45 has been growing and growing in recent years pretty much all the copies have disappeared into collections now. This will fly out at this price.

Lovelles - Pretending Dear (Atco) Vg (small nick/crack on run in DNAP, see image) £80

Another bargain, easy £150 in decent nick.  Sadly, this has a tiny edge crack on run it (DNAP) and a few marks that cause the odd light tick and pop during the first few seconds before it evens out into a nice Vg+. Fabulous lowrider 45 with huge potential that’s yet to be realised this side of the Atlantic. Half price

Ferris Fitzgerald - Got To Find My Baby (Impact) Vg- £50 

Stupidly rare and massively in demand Jamaican sweet soul lowrider 45. Not the best looking copy in the world and it does have some significant ticks and pops at the start, priced accordingly (listen to a clip from actual 45 below). Not one that ever shows in decent condition, like so many of the Jamaican presses they look like they’ve been used as frisbees! A quarter of the price it should be!
