Cashmeres - Summertime/You Send Me (Rubbertown) Mint- £80 Sold 

Yes it’s that ‘Summertime’ a jazz standard but unlike you’ve ever heard before! Words cannot do this justice just have a listen. Both sides have been gaining interest on the lowrider circuit recently and rightly so. Was picked up and re-issued as Don McClain and The Electrifying Cashmeres on Sound Stage Seven which is scarce on both issue and demo but this local Ohio release on Rubbertown is proper rare like everything else on the label. I’m probably making a massive mistake selling this for under a ton.

Eight Minutes - Will You Still Be Mine/Here’s Some Dances (Jay-Pee) Mint- £50

Under the radar kiddie soul double hitter that is quite honestly has huge potential. Top side is a yet to be discovered (over here at least) classy piece of sweet with a beat that will turn a few heads stateside as well as here. Flip it for a cracking funk edged dancer that’s had some spins thanks to one or two of the Rhythm, Soul and Funk DJs who are consistently pushing the boundaries and discovering quality new sounds. This 45 is notoriously hard to find in decent condition, this copy is flawless.
