They are from the book The Tempests: A Carolina Soul Story, though a few individual online chapters were modified slightly to explore some themes etc. If you are interested in the book and getting the whole story in one place, I do have the paperback available at https://a-nickel-and-a-nail.myshopify.com/collections/books?page=3 and there will be a PDF version available soon (possibly later next week).
