Recommended Posts

The Tempests Story continues. In part 14, the story crosses the pond to the UK. Martin Meyler turns up the LP, "Someday" is broken on the soul scene by Guy and Keb, and Alan Kitchener finds the Holy Grail! Follow the link:

Mark,

Sorry if this is a silly question, but are all the 14 parts you've previously posted all extracts from the book that appears in the photo?

Cheers.

They are from the book The Tempests: A Carolina Soul Story, though a few individual online chapters were modified slightly to explore some themes etc. If you are interested in the book and getting the whole story in one place, I do have the paperback available at https://a-nickel-and-a-nail.myshopify.com/collections/books?page=3 and there will be a PDF version available soon (possibly later next week).

Late update: paperback is sold out now, but the ebook is available at https://a-nickel-and-a-nail.myshopify.com/collections/books/products/the-tempests-a-carolina-soul-story-e-mark-windle
