any differences here?  Vinyl vs styrene? Something with the sound quality?

I'm about 99% sure that both the issue and promo copies are both styrene. The only differences between the 2 would be the promo using black print for the song info and the issue using red, and the "Bunky's Pick" on the "It's My Thing" side. 

 

The issue I once had was styrene. Discogs lists two different promos. Both are styrene.

ALL the promos of this issue that I've ever seen were styrene.  Their print was ALL black, as opposed to both black and red on store stock issues.
