Joesoul55 Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 To all you information gatherers, I thought I'd compile a list of one song title that has been used on a number of northern soul tracks. Most of them are well known quality sounds. The title is "I STILL LOVE YOU" The following artists have all recorded this title , but all are different songs:- Harry Deal and the Galaxies The Superlatives The Four Larks The Casinos The Seven Souls Jackie Wilson Chuck Holiday The Profiles The T.S.U. Toronadoes Ann Sexton There may be more which could be classed as northern soul ? 2

Joesoul55 Posted October 13, 2021 Author Posted October 13, 2021 Thanks Gold Band as my list was concerned with up tempo versions of the title, your list has actually made me aware of 3 tracks that could be played as dance tracks. Bobby Womack Brenda Holloway ( Same song as The Seven Souls) Prophets 1
Gold Band Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 (edited) Well if you want a real up tempo dance track try Otis Leavill - I Still Love You (Dakar 4511) 1972 you won't find a more up tempo track..... Kirsty Edited October 15, 2021 by Gold Band
