45cellar Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi Does anyone know if a DEMO exists on Charger for Out On The Floor The Thunderbird copy has "MY BABY" on the A Side & "OUT ON THE FLOOR" on the B Side. DEMO & Stock Copy. I found a copy of "MY BABY" as a Charger DEMO but I haven't seen "OUT ON THE FLOOR" as a Charger DEMO ----------------? The others exist, DEMO & Stock copy and generally are reasonably easy to find and not too expensive.
45cellar Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 Thunderbird is a 1975 release incidentally Hi Pete Thanks for the Info, I take it that this was the two Charger releases back to back. Have you seen the Charger DEMO ?
Guest Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi Pete Thanks for the Info, I take it that this was the two Charger releases back to back. Have you seen the Charger DEMO ? As far as I know, it does not exist on a white demo, if it did there would be a stampede to own it.. But there are two presses of the stock copy one is much-rarer..the small text for the title and artist is very tough to find. The counterfeit copy, they used the commoner larger text credit design to repro the label. Making the smaller text press that much more collectable.

It's strange that the DEMO doesn't exist but that's record collecting for you. Edited February 6, 2007 by 45cellar
Pete S Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 sorry Pete not your day 1973 for this press, paypal has made me quiet irritable today sorry for being picky.. I was told it was issued to coincide with the Black Magic version making the lower reaches of the chart
Dave Moore Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I was told it was issued to coincide with the Black Magic version making the lower reaches of the chart I always understood that the Thunderbird issue was done by the owner to cash in on the popularity of the track in UK too. Not sure about the Black Magic issue being the catalyst but it sounds plausible. I was also told recently that the Black Magic UK issue was actually LEGAL. Never seen a W/Demo of OOTF, but Man...that'd look nice eh? Regards, Dave www.theresthatbeat.com www.hitsvillesoulclub.com
