Larsc Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Always wondered why you didn't have a website Good luck
Pete S Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 Always wondered why you didn't have a website Good luck I did mate, since 1998, it was up before most of the others! Just never learned how to update/build the site, so it's stood still for the last couple of years
Guest MBarrett Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Pete First time I had looked at your clips on YouTube all together and first time I had realised it is yourself who has the fabulous film of the 1963 Motortown Revue at the Apollo. I am stunned. I never knew this film existed!! Further to your other post about putting stuff on DVD. What price a copy of the whole Revue footage on DVD?? Opening offer is £20 to you or your charity of choice - or whatever??!! I think my favourite clip has to be M & the V's - I just love those little shimmying dance moves. You can see where Dusty Springfield "learned her trade". And I'm still laughing at the cheesy bit where she throws the teddy bear away. "Give them to your new sweetheart" - brilliant! Pleeeeeeeeeeeease . . . . . let me know if you can help!! MB (Mark)

Guest MBarrett Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 (edited) Bogue No - never even heard of the guy!! I am not an "active" member of the rare soul scene - just passionate about the music for the last 30+ years. Is my "near namesake" someone who has a known bad reputation? If so maybe time to change my user name on this forum??!! Mark Edited February 3, 2007 by MBarrett

If you have a quick look in 'freebasing' you will notice that for Pete, Barclays are not the bank that likes to say yes , shall we say. & welcome, by the way, hope you enjoy it on here, some really knowledgable people (me not included) on here, & quite a few who just love the music like you (me included) Edited February 3, 2007 by Bogue

And I've never not done someone a dvd when they've asked so nicely..
