Pete S Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Thought this may be of interest - here are some of the northern records played on thise reel to reel tapes I have of the Mike Raven show - amazing that some of these actually got played on radio 1. roosevelt grier - cmnon cupid other brothers - lets get together homer banks - 60 minutes deltones - gimme some lovin belles - don't pretend bob brady - everybodys goin.. chris jackson - i'll never forget you alan haven - image little hank - mr bang bang man temptation walk - jackie lee tami lynn - run away from you robert john - if you don't.. jerryo - karate boogaloo billy harner - what about the music showmen - you're everything ronnie milsap - ain't no soul roscoe robinson - thats enough betty lavette - let me down easy jimmy conwell - cigaratte ashes he also plays the odd reggae tracks (liquidator) and a few odd rock things (free, elton john) but mainly US only released soul
