Fabulous Four - If I Knew / Everybody’s Gotta Have A Heart (Saintmo) Ex £100 Hold 

Last one of these I had flew out confirming how desirable and difficult this 45 has become. Simply superb double sider, the former Stafford topside sounds like a £1,000 + record. Copies have long since disappeared into collections and this very rarely shows up anymore. Demand from lowrider collectors for both sides (check out ‘Everybody’s’ for a sublime piece of lowrider group harmony) means this can only rise and rise in value. Lovely copy.

New Cymbals - Please Baby Please (De-Lite) Mint- £50

Much like the aforementioned Fab Four, this one flew out last time. Gorgeous and increasingly in demand early ‘70s version of The Sensations cut on Way Out, big demand for this one and the way prices are going for lowrider tunes this can only rise in value. A really classy lowrider for under a ton but for how long?

Inspirations - Gotta Find A New Love/I Can Feel It (Benn-x) Mint- £40 Sold 

Brilliant, previously unreleased group harmony and former Butch spin (from the original acetate). Released some 10-15 years ago now in limited quantity, simply doesn’t show up for sale any longer. Don’t ignore the equally wonderful flip side either!

One of Chicago’s greatest groups, with a clutch of sought after rarities on Bluelight, Moneytown and of course their mega rarity on USA. Here is one of their easy to find, but no less infectious 45s. Overlooked for too long, the top side has huge potential, again don’t dismiss the flip either.
