I did keep hundreds of old Soul Bowl lists until well into the '80s (and if I HAD an attic I'd probably still have them! - however I live in a flat and something had to go!) Would love to read through them now, but I'd just get depressed seeing what I missed out on for £2-£3! I know issues of Carl Hall on Columbia were £2.50, also Willie Tee on Gator etc. Still, I'd MUCH rather pay hundreds of pounds for them, wouldn't you?

Just don't think when you are younger. Certainly don't do it these days ! I find that with the white cardboard sleeves i use now, that you can get the sleeve in too in most cases, somtimes have to do a small fold on the one edge though. Here's a few that i don't think have been posted yet, from a box of records i keep meaning to put up for sale. Got some other nice ones but i can't get at the boxes at the moment.

It wasn't until I asked on Soul Source that I had the Green Sock & Other White DEMO confirmed. >>> Link <<< It's the same with Sleeves, some search and don't ever see any. That's one of the harder aspects to get right, very confusing which sleeve goes with which release both the sleeves are about 5 years too late for the labels. I'm not picking fault, it's just another area for us all to work on. Remember I was the "prick" who stamped all the General American sleeves with j. Manship, 25 Baldocks lane etc.. when I had a box of Velvet satins, when I was a boy.. Below are a few sleeves I rate highly and should be looked after and treasured as much as 45s. Dover (all the Hot Line, Manhattan, Nola, White Cliff etc New Orleans dist. labels) Duke (the white and purple design as shown earlier in this thread) End (with the "doggy" particually RARE" UK Sue Blue Beat UK R&B Canadian Quality Canadian Reo Cuca (Wisconsin label) UK Tamla Motown advertising LPs Emi sleeves. It goes on and on...

That Loma sleeve goes with the Green label release, the White Demo with the "W" in the logo is the promo for the later Green label release. Without the "W" in the logo is the white promo for the yellow label release. The yellow Loma releases to my experience were all issued in plain white sleeves. If that m akes it as clear as mud!
