So this one is a bit late due to a 3 day fishing trip, I caught a sunburn! So a tale of two sets of music really, I got very excited with the opening modern shuffling stuff, then half way through I really hit my sixties stride! Naomi Harris starts the charge, followed by the brilliant Kittens & Jimmy Jones. Check the guitar work on Barbara & the Browns 'So Cruel'. Narvel Felts might seem like a made up name, but boy is it a great song! Mary Saxton is sheer class this track just smoulders! and what is it about Garrett Saunders plonking ditty? it's addictive that song, I just love it! The Mark IV's is a massive favorite, we have Roy Hamilton's stirring 'My Peaceful Forest' & finishing as it's always done, Dean Parrish's 'I'm on My Way'. There are few Artists in the Northern Soul Scene that are liked as much as Dean and his Music, he will be missed.
