Soul-slider Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 (edited) I heard this record by The Chapters and was blown away! I think it has massive 'Northern' potential. Obviously blue-eyed, it's not in Manship's guide or even in TeenBeat Mayhem (US Garage/slight Northern Discography). I just wondered whether it was known on the scene? Might not be everyone's cuppa but those who like stuff like The Chevrons (Love, I Love You) or 7 Dwarfs 'Stop Girl' will like it. I've never seen one for sale. Edited June 12, 2021 by Soul-slider 3
Popular Post Woodbutcher Posted June 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 12, 2021 Was one for sale on here in 2018. 4
Benji Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 a couple of copies sold on Discogs since 2018. Last few copies M- indicating a new old stock find. Going by the number of people looking for it on Discogs, 210, it's not unknown. But no idea to which scene it is not unknown. Soul collectors, Garage collectors? I think it's just average. Not allnighter material IMO. But maybe the YT doesn't do it any justice. I could imagine it sounds much better played out loud at a dance. 1
Geeselad Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 I think it's ace, personally, just right for a nighter IMHO, but at the same time I can't imagine a big name dj who'd play it out either. Sad statement of how safe our scene has become. It does deserve to be massive in the backrooms at least, and hope to dance to it somewhere real soon. 1
