I believe there are many different original press/label colours & boots though. Sorry I can't help, but would be Interested to know the different issues, Original etc.
davidwapples Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 werent the boots pressed in the uk and had push out centres which if you look closely you can see small points in the vinyl where they were pushed out?

They were pressed up with pop-out middles - the same as UK records from the 60s, then they were popped out leaving the indentations where the centre used to be. (Stuart Ames was done at the same time/place). Original came in three or four different colours...will try and scan mine later.
Guest Richard Bergman Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 the boot Cheers for that guys....it seems to be the boot....have no idea how i've ended up with it ...just sorting out the spare room and coming across piles I never knew existed. thanks Richard

Chalky Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Here's the white label variation - the hardest? I had one of these, got it from Butch sometime in the 80's and didn't see another one for many a year.

Guest Rich Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Here's the white label variation - the hardest? should have a stamped Bell Sound matrix as well - mine has anyway. And some other indentations in the run-out - although they could be dog bite marks A great record though and one of the few I've shied away from selling
