Clean OG copy of one of the best modern 45s out there. Flipside has always been a bit overlooked but is definitely worth checking out too. Visual grade: VG+ to EX €2250 Oscar Toney, Jr – Keep on loving me / I’ve found a true love – King 45-6108 DJ Copy Monster soulful R&B dancer in beautiful condition. Visual grade: M- €220 Isaac Price II – Let’s make love while it’s raining / Funky sweep – Revolving 201 Quirky sweet ballad with a deep funk flip. Copy seems to have been exposed to heat at some point. Has some minor warping that’s visible but not audible, and a part of the very outer edge (not even touching the run-in) shows slight deformation around 7 o’clock. Has a sticker on label caused by publishing issues. Visual grade: VG+ €150 Junior Kimbell – Tram? / You can’t leave me – Philwood 204 Heavyweight blues funk version of the Lowell Fulsom tune. Visual grade: M- €120 The 5 Royales – Not going to cry / Take me with you, baby – Home Of The Blues 232 Two vibrant soulful R&B sides from the top shelf. Visual grade: VG+ to EX €100 Major Makers Choral – Bring back the joy / Heaven – Him-Ek 101 Impossible to find crisp gospel breaks from Long Beach, CA with a jazz edge. Visual grade: G+ €100 Esther Phillips – Nobody but you / Too much of a man – Roulette 7059 DJ Copy Solid crossover winner. A couple of superficial scuffs but plays solid. Visual grade: VG €100 Philip Wilson and The Co-Real Artists – I’m gonna tell God / Instrumental & Background Voices – Jordan 1013 Super rare 70s deep Cali gospel. Comes with the matching company sleeve which you won’t be seeing again anytime soon. Visual grade: EX €100 Whizz Kids – Magic connection / I couldn’t love you again – Sunday DS-1010 Invisible leftfield disco cut with a somewhat less attractive flip. Visual grade: VG €100 Roy Montrell – That mellow saxophone / Oooh wow – Specialty 583-45 Fifties jump blues dancer. Flipside label has been mishandled in an alleged attempt of a cover-up. Visual grade: VG+ €80 Ann Robinson – The letter / Love you – Rising-Soul 101 Deep soul ballad with a nice popcorn flip. Visual grade: VG+ to EX €80 Marva W. Taylor – Nothing I’d rather be than your weakness / I’ve lived the life – Forte 5015-24 Mid-tempo crossover that oozes quality. Visual grade: EX €80 Wayne Toombs – I found my dreams in you / That’s the way it will always be – Youngstown 603 Under the radar slice of garage soul. Marks on surface but this heavy pressing hits hard. Visual grade: VG- €75 Little Johnny Williams – Invitation to a dance / A house that ain’t a home – King Walk 568 New Orleans R&B rarity with a sought-after deep soul flip. Marks on surface but both sides play very well. Visual grade: VG €75 Lonnie “The Cat” – I ain’t drunk / The road I travel – RPM 45x410 Booze soaked R&B with Ike Turner’s band backing. Visual grade: G+ €70 Joe Johnson – Jimmy’s got bad feet / Whisper – Bounce 18 Obscure Texas R&B mover Visual grade: VG+ €70 Marty Richards – What makes one fall in love / Bella bambina – Ascot 2153 DJ Copy Clean copy of this pure popcorn oldie. Visual grade: EX €60 Danny Overbea – I’m tired of being tossed around / Book of tears – Federal 45-12434 DJ Copy Rare 1961 R&B rocker Visual grade: VG €55 Wendy Lynn – Try me / same – King 45-6306 DJ Copy Deep ballad in pristine condition. Visual grade: M-, slight warp NAP €55 Gerri Diamond – Plain old everyday boy / The sunshine of your smile – Counterpart 2570 Semi-known upbeat sixties soul Visual grade: VG to VG+ €55 Dee Dee Sharp – The bottle or me / You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone – Gamble 4005 Late sixties Philly sound. Issue copy with the beautiful deep ballad flip. Visual grade: EX €50 Billy & Betty – I need some kind of something / Talking bout you baby – Sag Port 100 Chicago double sider. Label discoloration on both sides. Visual grade: VG €50 Lenny And The New Era – Feel so funny / You just tear me up – Whizz 002 Obscure mid-sixties Lenny McDaniel outing with a nice ballad flip. Dancer side plays way above grade, ballad is more impacted by the scuffs. Visual grade: VG- €40 Lee Andrews – Can’t do without you / Oh my love – Lost-Nite 1004 Uptempo Philly stormer. Very clean surface, label has a bit of ring wear. Visual grade: M- €40
