Very hard to find on with Etah or this Canadian Columbia release. Fabulous northern dancer with full male group harmony backing from the Barons (credited on the Etah release). Under the radar, underplayed and rare (only a handful through eBay on either label according to Popsike).

Al Johnson - Soul Time/Sittin’ Around (Burt) Ex £75

‘Soul time’ is a funky uptempo banger of a tune that seems just right for now, flip is a delightful mid tempo crossover that also seems to have escaped people’s attention. Very few through eBay over the last 10 years and usually hit £100+ when they do.

Scarce double sided New York R&B style dancer. ‘Heart’ I think had some plays some 10 or so years ago at Pow Wow Wow (?) but both sides need wider attention, has massive appeal and really should be twice the price.
