Different version of Baby love - played by Dave Evison last hour, or the dreaded Russ. Pretty awful as I recall, and I blotted THAT out from the memory banks....

Guest Bogue Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 (edited) 77/78 Ken. It was pretty big for Richard, and a young me remembers dancing to it. Didn't it get a 'Grapevine' release at the time too ? Edited January 28, 2007 by Bogue
Pete S Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Happy Cats was played for a maximum of 3 weeks...never really big. When I did the Grapevine article for Record Collector I asked John Anderson why the put certain records out and the answer was simply that they had the rights to them...like why put out Stanley Woodruff 2 years after it was big, that sort of thing, and why waste plastic on the likes of the Happy Cats? Though the other side was quite good "Destroy that boy"

Steve G Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 ========== would take a brave dj to play this again wouldnt it ? I am sure there's someone out there with such poor taste that they'd give this a revival - after all someone reactivated Holly St JAmes didn't they
