Classic Detroit Northern. Looks rough but plays brill.

Martha Reeves + The Vandelas: In And Out of My Life / Your Love Makes It All Worthwhile (Gordy) 15 euros or (Tamla Motown Canada) 20euros

Great Motown double-sider. A side is a great crossover midtempo builder that's always been one of my favourite of hers. The B-side is a more typical Motown dancer that has had spins at Sleepless Nights and was even featured on one of the CDs.

Supremes: Stoned Love (Motown) 10 euros

Classic Motown. Think this was a Dice bar spin for Danny if the old grey cells are working right.

Supremes: Time Changes Things (Motown) 15euros

Even though I alsways loved their hits I must admit I've really had a re-evaluation of the Supremes over the last few years. Some of their overlooked stuff really is exceptional....He's All I Got, You've Been So Wonderful To Me, Will This Be The Day, Whisper You Love Me Boy etc........and here is another criminally overlooked gem of a dancer. This time we get that raw early sound that's just perfect for today. Highly recommended.

Great Motown double-header

Supremes: Baby Love/ Ask Any Girl (Stateside) 5euros

Dionne Warwick: Reach Out For Me (Scepter/Wand) 10euros

Great version

Mary Wells: You Beat Me To The Punch (Motown) 10euros

Great indemand Motown midtempo.

Mary Wells: I'm Learning / He's a Lover (20th Cent.) 20 euros

Superb post-Motown double-header. I'm Learning is a brilliant under-rated Northern dancer that should get more spins while the flip is a cracking mid-tempo.

The Whispers: Needle In A Haystack (Soul Clock) 15euros

Top notch crossover dancer that was an old Soul Heaven spin for me and is now getting plays at some smart venues. Flip is great too!!!!!!!!!!

The Webs: Tomorrow (Popside) 20 euros

Highly rated (and rightly so) midtempo group Soul

Al Wilson: Show and Tell (Bell) or (Rocky Road) 10 euros
