Guest Posted December 14, 2004 Posted December 14, 2004 Can anyone tell me the difference between the orig and the boot please.
Chalky Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Can anyone tell me the difference between the orig and the boot please. link Which one, the Highland release? Wasn't aware it had been booted??
Pete S Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Everyone thinks it was booted but all the yellow copies that were being sold were in fact originals...if you check the delta number you'll see it dates it to 5 years earlier. It's common on yellow, but last few I've sold have gone for 30-40 quid, two years ago I was still selling them for a fiver. Best is to go for a white demo.
Pete S Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Thing is, I didn't think there was any way of getting round Monarchs dating system and the number on the yellow pressings matches that of the demo...weird
Guest Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 So can we clarify the differences between the orig and re-issue.
Guest Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Thanks but I'm still not sure if I've got an original or a pressing (legit or not) Doesn't matter in the long run, just nice to know. Wouldn't it be great to hear that out once in a while?

Guest martyn Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Could it be they were old stock sold to Neil at a latter date ? BTW has anyone heard Saigon Strut by The Soul Patrol? Not everyones cup of tea but I certainly wouldn't sell mine in a hurry.
Guest Tommy Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 I had a copy of this on the Yellow Highland. Its was vinyl & the print was blotchy (a boot in my eyes). I've seen original W/D's & Issues... there Styrene with a crisp label.
