The 45-Sleeves website says that the Hitsville USA sleeves were used on all Motown subsidiaries from 1964 through 1967 - I'm assuming up until September 1967 when the first album cover sleeves appeared. Is this actually true? This seems to be the least common Motown company sleeve even though Motown was releasing far more than they did in the red and blue turntable sleeve era (1961-1963/4). Another curious thing is that Melody/Mel-O-Dy, one of the subsidiaries on the sleeve, had it's last release in 1965.

Not 100% sure but,I would almost swear my brother (or sister) bought these as new releases and they were in Hitsville sleeves-

1) Jimmy Ruffin- "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted"

2) Elgins- "Heaven Must Have Sent You"

3) Shorty Long- "Function At The Junction"
