Popular Post Amsterdam Russ Posted October 27, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted October 27, 2021 An inspiring story... Quote Somerset dad stubs out smoking habit for photography Former heavy-smoker Dave Shaw, from Somerset, was inspired to "turn things around" after his wife became pregnant. Since then, the 39-year-old has gone from an unfit smoker to being able to "practically skip up a hill". "I needed to change my way of life and this is where photography came about," he said. Popular Post Winsford Soul Posted November 4, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 4, 2021 (edited) A few from today at Pennington Flash. First visit for a while and i was more than pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful but quite scarce Winter visitor to Pennington. Whooper Swans (22 ) , they have flown from the Artic, Greenland etc to spend the milder Winters here in the UK. You get plenty on the coast but not that often further inland, there where only three Juveniles with this particular flock so i hope its not a sign of a bad breeding season further North and they are so wary . Both pictures a cropped as they stayed well away from the bank Edited November 5, 2021 by Winsford Soul 5
