Geoff Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Not quite sure what year this came out, 66/67?, but it was played in London clubs at the time, I am sure I heard it at Bluesville, Manor House, played by Mike Raven I think. I was a big JB fan at the time, we went to see him on his first visit early show, and went back to the next show we enjoyed it so much. But after this track he started on the funky path (if my memory isn't failing me again) and the rest is history. Quite surprised some of his earlier tracks haven't been played at R&B nights.

pikeys dog Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 "Money Won't Change You" shares the same backing as "Sexy, Sexy, Sexy" which was featured in one of his many Blaxploitation soundtracks.... Lazy b*stard! WOOF!
Paul McKay Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Just in case on one's seen it, if you have cable or sattelite, there's a great JB biography shown every now & then on the Biography channel. Paul SITC
